Who am I?
William Stead was born in the North of England. At the age of 9, he moved to Florida in the US and later went on to graduate from the FSU Film School. He now focuses his work on telling historical stories from the past, focusing on the outsiders from human history. William is an active member of the LGBTQ+ community and hopes that his work will bring to light the gaps in the timeline of gay history. To date he’s had his work play across the world, including three acceptances and one win at the Cannes Film Festival.
